Instead, embrace the fact that motivation can arise from engaging your people in solving the problems that your organisation faces. In almost any challenging situation, human beings can feel overwhelmed by circumstances. Contributing to the organisation’s response expands everyone’s sense of personal agency.

Change can only be done with people, not to them.
