Small change: rewrite the book on negative narratives

We each have choices to make whether we buy into the narratives that exist around us about the likely trajectory of our industries and businesses. Our view: doom and gloom help no-one. A baseline level of optimism is essential to navigate difficult times and the inevitable problems that they bring.
Consistently working from within our zones of influence — working out what we can change and do so — is empowering. It can also help to preserve optimism even when it feels in short supply. Positive feelings don’t just breed positive action; positive action also breeds positive feelings.
