Small change: live the dream

Many years ago, a Creative Director we know was pitching a bold idea. In response, the clients started listing all the reasons why, as good as the idea was, it could never work. Internal political barriers, anxieties about the public’s reaction, project management complexities: they all tumbled forth.

“Let’s just give ourselves a minute,” said the Creative Director. “And just sit here and imagine what it would be like if this work actually made it into the world.” 

Everyone sat quietly. Then a remarkable thing occurred. The clients bought the idea: hook, line and sinker.
