With any luck, right now you’re feeling good. If so, long may it last.

But perhaps things feel difficult right now. You might be fearing an uncomfortable conversation. Your confidence might have taken some knocks. You might feel like the primary purpose of your daily life is to illuminate your weaknesses in the most unflattering light possible, over and over again.

If so, it can be helpful to remember that growth lies in the direction of the difficulties we face. The only way out is through; the obstacle is always the path. Get help if necessary, but whatever it takes: keep going. There is so much waiting for you on the other side.
